While Bollywood attendance is expected at Vivek Oberoi's reception in Mumbai today, his wedding ceremony on Friday was a simple family affair. 

Vivek married Priyanka Alva, daughter of the Karnataka in Bangalore, in the presence of almost 400-500 guests.The wedding was held at a farmhouse 

near Hebbal Lake on National Highway 7. The ceremonies began at 5.30pm, says a guest, with the tying of the safas for both the bride and the groom's families. The wedding procession started an hour later and continued for the next hour. While Vivek was dressed in a maroon sherwani, Priyanka was wearing a red outfit, and Vivek's mother had donned a beige sari. 

The wedding saw a fair bit of attendance from the capital too. Delhi-based Jea Band, which has earlier played at Abhishek and Aishwarya's wedding too, was part of Vivek's baraat and were involved with the safaa arrangements too. Delhi designers Shantanu and Nikhil too created outfits for both the bride and groom and the families. Guests included girls from Vivek's charity in Vrindavan, Sushmita Sen with daughter Renee and sister Neelam, and Chiranjeevi.
