Gulshan Grover, the famous villain actor is to co-cast in Hollywood director Bill Duke’s upcoming film “The Driver”. The actor is signed opposite the Mexican-American actress Salma Hayek. Gulshan said that it was during his recent visit to Los Angeles, he met director Duke and fixed meeting and read the script and signed thefilm.

With about 30 years of experience the Hollywood actor cum director Bill Duke works dwells mostly within the action and crime dramas. Some of his exemplary works include “A Rage in Harlem”, “Deep Cover”, “Hoodlum” and others. The director said that the lead actor in “TheDriver ” will be acting with many varied actors. He was looking for an Indian actor with talent, versatility and experience. And he chooses Gulshan Grover who wholly fits the role.

In Duke’s film Gulshan Grover will be featuring together with many other Hollywood
actors namely, Will Smith, Janet Jackson, Whoopie Goldberg and basketball star Kobe Bryant. Having signed the film “The Driver”, Gulshan is very much excited to be a part of the film. He is playing the role of an accountant and husband of Salma Hayek, who runs after his dreams. Prior to the film “The Driver”, the badman Gulshan Grover acted in many other foreign films which include “Prisoners of the Sun”, Tibetan film 'We're No Monks', Italian movie 'Les Mysteres de Sadjurah', 'Blind Ambition', 'Sweet Amerika' and 'My Bollywood Bride'.

The actor Gulshan Grover recently appeared as a police officer in the film “Crook” and played a corrupt central minister in Sohail Macklai’s latest release “Knock Out”. Gulshan was much praised for the portrayal of the corrupt character. The actor himself confessed this and also asked his fans to wait and see a lot more of the bad character Gulshan Grover soon.

Gulshan reportedly said, "I was in LA (Los Angeles) and Bill Duke saw me at a charity event. Later on a meeting was fixed and we met where I read the script, liked it and signed it on."
